Found a cheap motorcycle lift

So my dad came out to visit and for sheats and giggles we went looking around town at pawn shops for any gems. In the third store we hit, there was a large clean blue motorcycle lift in the middle of the floor with a sticker price of 79. Oh man, I'm so tempted to go get it.

Thats a good deal! Even a Harbor Freight lift runs $150 on sale with a coupon. Nice upgrade from ceiling rafters and tie down straps! Haha.

That lift looks great but won't lift my Buell, my exhaust will not support the bike, and no way is it low enough for my Harley Dyna, which leads to the question of how do you guys lift your bikes - other than hanging them from the rafters....

I use front and rear pitbull stands. Been known to use tie downs and rafters a time or two.... LOL

I use a craftsman ATV jack, was something around $150. I'd say it's a good deal.

You guys using the lifts or jacks when do you place them under the bike, I have the Pitbull stand for the rear and another no name brand for the front but would love to get the wheels off the ground without the stands.

Here's what I use:

Straps are only there because I left the bike for weeks/months and didn't want to chance the jack releasing pressure.

Can not do mine that way - crush the exhaust - any others with liteweight exhaust what are you using.
