I know I know if it aint in pics it dosnt exist lol
you will just have to take my word for it.
Lets see waht else?
Ive grown out of the sportbike thing.
I got back to my roots of an ol school hotrodder.
I jam punk and rock a billy.
my fav color is orange.
I drink from both ends of the beer scale.
Pabst and Guinness.
To many PBRs last night would probably explane my randomness now.

Ok we now may return to our regularly scheduled program.
Im just trying to give you guys some insite on what kinda guy I am
:D

Awesome! I have always want to do a old cafe racer style bike. Nice Model A, looks like u do good work. What color is Ur X1?

my X1 is yellow (for now)
plans so far is to just get the things it needs to go down the road, strip off all the crazy amounts of plastic and just ride the heck out of it. Im thinking
just a modern retro cafe kinda thing. Just strip off the crap that dosnt need to be.
Which brings to mind some ?s Ive got again.
Does anybody know the dia. of the stock bars?
7/8ths or 1 inch? how bout the dia. of the forks?
Im triying to decide if I want to go with a traditional lower bar or clip ons and I need headlight ears.
Its killing me not being able to get in the garage and take pics and measurments of things. Im just sitting here surfing the web making my to get list.

the 78 cafe I did was alot of fun. Its a fun handfull to push an old 70s bike to its limits on the road. It never was really "finished". I had plenty more I would have liked to do to it, elimination of that stock air box and a rejet was next on the list. But it was soon after my divorce and I was broke, a kid offered me 1500 bucks for the bike so I let it go.

Maybe one day Ill do another but with the Cafe craze in full swing people think they have a goldmine in those old barn fresh hondas and you just cant pick them up for cheap right now. Im watching 200 dollar wrecks go for over 1500 dollars now and it kills me!!

5 years ago me and my buddy were buying these things left n right at 100 bucks a pop!

I think I saw pur pony's bike, is it the one with the custom tube sub frame? That thing is one sweet looking ride!
