hello guys, just wondering can i clean my frame with a car polish,
i dont want to let it shine just cleaning it. have some black marks on it from the previous owner[smirk]

I also need to know, I've found that Superior Shine for car interiors works pretty good, not leaving it to shiny but just enough to make it look fresh. I've made the mistake of waxing it once but found out that I will never do that again [mad]

Ive never used anything on my frame except soap and water. Its just paint, and i dont even think its cleared. So i wouldnt use anything on it. I ended up repainting mine because the previous owner tried to wet sand it to a shine and wax it. It looked horrible.

I use a detail spray called Pig Spit. I use it inbetween washes. Its safe for plastic, paint, or whatever. Walmart use to carry it but I had to order offline last time. I really like it. My frame is painted black also.

I use a detail spray called Pig Spit

one of the single best motorcycle detailing products on the market and has been around since the mid 80's. first saw it at the international dealers show in cincinnati in like 1985. also works incredibly well on satin black wrinkle finish such as cylinders and primary covers. a great product.

I thought I was the only one /\ /\ /\. I love the stuff. It makes my black plastics shine, my frame, rims, motor, everything. I have used it for about 10 years.

i also made the mistake of using wax.. dont do it

Don't know if you guys are referring to wax residue being left behind or...[confused]
but I wax my frame with Mother's California Gold Pure Carnauba Wax and it looks fantastic and leaves behind no residue.
