Thanks ATF!!!

I defiantly have not gotten used to the damper yet. I have noticed when I let go of the bars she wants to drift right quickly. But I am not leaking any fluid at all and you shouldn't be either

Totally diggin' it, Jakester.. yeah, FTW!

Filter? (sorry... had to)

I should have thrown a black one in the box yesterday for you, too :D

Thump

You guys are killing me! I am going to change my oil after 500 miles just to put on a black filter!

No disrespect or anything but that seat just looks out of place to me. Just makes the rear of the bike look too tall.

My eyes... The filter is killing me...
THATS IT!!! I AM CHANGING MY OIL THIS WEEKEND!!!!!!!

No disrespect or anything but that seat just looks out of place to me. Just makes the rear of the bike look too tall.

To each their own! I love it. I will say that I plan on re making my rear shock bracket to make it about 1/2 lower

This weeks project. I got my tail light from Rober @ XBlights option 6. Man I'll tell you guys I was skeptical even with all the feedback I've seen from people with his product but just looking at the quality (I haven't plugged it in yet) I am sold! This is an extremely nice piece!

I am trying to get up with a member local to me who is much better at fabrication than I to get a new bracket made for the rear shock

Cool project! I know "to each their own" but the seat doesn't do it for me, looks like the bike was rear ended by a hummer or something. I never did find the appeal of the "tail lifts".

LOL, sorry wasn't trying to be mean. As long as you like it that's all that matters. I have yet to see a "tail lift" that I've liked, they just always look strange to me. I think the factory curves/lines of the bikes look perfect. I like everything else about your bike though [up]

I mean I LOVE IT!!! But I am just wondering what it is that others don't love so much. I put the Corbin seat on because I love the little hump where the passenger would sit because it looks like a rocket to me but that's just me

I don't know, it just doesn't look proportional to me. I think the rear wheel/swingarm would have to be like 6" closer to the bike to make it look proportional. The gap between the rear wheel and seat is too big. I'm really not trying to be a jerk lol. Everyone has different taste. What is it about it that looks good to you?

Well there is no doubt that when I made the bracket to space the rear shock I made it to long. I am actually in the works of shortening it.
So are you saying that you dislike the space between the rear wheel and the under seat right or that you dislike the look of the seat?

Hey don't let me deter you from making your bike your own! lol. I personally think it looks best like it is stock, but I think yours would look better with less space between the seat and wheel. I think the seat in general looks pretty good, just the angle is weird.

Nice bike man! ive been looking at the xblights, debating on option 5 or 6. Oh and your space bike pic, nothing like a big dip while workin on a bike [up]

Nope your not throwing me off of mine I am just curious to get a different point of view is all. I LOVE my bike, Just ask my wife

I like the seat. Though its a little too high i think the Corbin works well and gives a little perch for a second rider (unlike some of the various lightning seats w/ tail lifts). I'll come up on a s tail eventually.....
