If you don't remember, friday will be the 1 year anniversary of the day that HD announced they were pulling the plug. [sad] Everyone should prepare their day of mourning ride(then post pics)

I'll be getting my bike back from service that day. It's been a long month!

^^ that could pretty much be said of every day of the year.10/15/87 divorce final from first wife :D woo hoo.10/15/23 yankees win first series woo hoo.

I make sure that everyday when I wake up, I think of those who are overseas defending freedoms and those that gave their life and thank them, Ooh rah xtreme! Always remember those who gave all and those who tried! Semper Fi!

But also fu** hd!

I lost two Great friends in Fallujah on Oct 15th, 2007

I assume Marines? I spent 18 months in Fallujah assigned to the 9th Psyop Battallion (Army) with the 1st and 2nd MEF. I left August 15th 2007. A lot of good guys out there! Definitely an important thing to remember... not a rant!

any day that a young american is killed is a sad day.IMO but the last time my freedoms were in jeopardy from a foreign country was 12/7/41.but my goverment has taken far to many of my freedoms using only a pen and without a fight.

back to the topic sorry dave.yes it was a sad day and a mad one also.i remember thinking that i should not have bought this bike and i wonder if i could get my money back or at least a partial refund since i bought mine in may of 09.all in all im glad i have my buell and i think erik is better off without H/D.

I remember i was off loading at a customers place and my wife called and said they were shutting down buell , i told her she was full of it. I went online and saw Eriks speech and felt sick by it. I quickly called my Buell buddies and they told me i was full of it. Thanks to the closure i added another Buell to the garage 2 days after the sad news at a really good price. I just hope Erik can pull off an affordable street bike to continue the brand.

yes it did hit close to home especially when the patriot act followed and took more of my rights in a single blow than other time in our history.and like osama said he wanted to change the way we lived and we played right into his hands.arnt we off topic with this xtreme if i remember your not a big fan of that.

IMO but the last time my freedoms were in jeopardy from a foreign country was 12/7/41

I can kindof agree with that. Japan was a real threat at the time. They had (almost equal)technology and numbers. We are far more superior to the taliban in every way

as long as our goverment tries to dictate and over throw goverments in the middle for theyre own agenda acts like 9/11 will continue.no foreign goverment or person has ever taken any freedoms from any american that act has only been done by our goverment.thats fact.[up] to octo.

hahaha uhh[confused]

No disrespect to those that have harsh war memories, but this is a Buell forum!
xtreme.... im totally confused to why you would steal Dave's thread like this. Vent on the war threads.

On 10/15, I will be on my Buell rain or sunshine.

yeah Xtreme, dont be so selfish thread jacking just because two of your friends died that exact day 4 years ago. Who cares if these men didn't hesitate to serve our country and bravely died for our best interests.

They stopped making more buells dude! That's traumatizing enough.
:(
