@Alfatango: alright! We do Palo/Montezuma about once a month... I'll msg you the next time we go. This was our last ride 2wks ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UE2mB_WcfIo

+1 to twoguns: it's the rider, not the bike... I've seen 14 yo kids on 250 2 strokes take guys on liter bikes at the track (streets of willow, which is technical and tight)... Now of course if you take these same bikes on Big Willow Springs the story will be different, but not because or rider skill, but because the liter bikes will catch up easily on the long straights...

I've seen it a lot too, when I rode at Firebird Raceway Park, a guy would smoke everyone in one session on his GSXR 600 then do it again on his 250R with knobby tires the next session.

Nice vid, looks like a great loop to ride on. You're like my buddy on his FZ1, way more comfortable on the roads and bike than a lot of others. I never try to keep up with him. And a lot of others don't try to keep up with me. First thing I tell people I sell to is, ride your own pace, people crash by trying to keep up with their buddies who are more experienced.

Wavex,

Do you know what camera was used for that video you posted? Wind noise was a bit much, but great video.

Tork; if you get that cam, I recommend you use the 720p settings instead of the 1080p... the 720p comes with 60fps (opposed to 30fps on the 1080p setting), which helps a lot in terms of vibrations.

I need to work on the wind noise (tape the mic over, and play with gain settings in the camera's software)...
