I just put new brake pads on and now the front rotors get extremely hot and help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Welcome to the Forum,Rebleed the Calipers and make sure the Pads are in correctly. Sometimes after that is completed you may need to check to see if the Rotor is warped. Check the Rotors inner springs and all the haedware behind the Rotor as well.
The Rebleeding is the first thing in case the Caliper is in need of some clean Fluid OR other work.
Depending on the Master Cylinder for the Brakes the fresh Fluid is and should be changed every 8'000/ miles. You can also Remove the Caliper and Squeeze Slowly to see if the Pistons come out and don't stick.
[Caution] You really need to be Carefull if you do that OR the Pistons will pop out. Make sure the Calipers Metal Tab is in place where the pads go up in the Calipers housing.
Usually you can leave the Pads in place put the bolt in this way while it is hanging off the Bracket there is limited space so the pads can be checked for movement it will also help to keep the Caliper pistons from Expanding out to far . Good Luck. *Jimi

Blake, one more thing Did you Break Loose the Bleeder When you installed the New Pads? If not it created pressure back on the Master Cylinder. Always Crack the Bleeder on a Caliper when installing Any type of Pads Auto or other Vehicles.
make sure to push in the Pistons while the Bleeder is Cracked open a bit. You can keep the mess down by putting some correct size hose on the bleeder and it will go into a bucket for Recycling and disposal.Hope the fix is an easy one. *Jimi
