So after blowing up the front right fork seal and soaking the front brake in fork oil I now have really crappy brake pads. I'm looking on feebay and wondered if I would really notice the difference between the 90+ set or the cheaper ones. Anyone care to enlighten me?

It's been expensive lately being a cr owner, blew forks, fuel pump went haywire, new battery, hmf exhaust blew a hole and I'm desperately trying to save up for the stator fix as I'm positive its on its way out. So please excuse me for being a cheapskate on brake pads....

Brakes is the biggest thing you should never skimp on.

Do yourself a favor and get the best you can afford.

Cheap **** works, kinda. Youll eventually stop. That may be an assist from a car or wall, but youll stop.

Get the premium one, stopping is by far more important than Going. Also, you run the cheap stuff now, when you switch back to the premium stuff, you have to adjust to the feel all over again.

Anythings an upgrade from what I currently have! I was interested in sintered verses carbon kevlar, how each different one will affect rotor wear, lifespan of pads, personal experience's etc. I actually commute more then anything, no track days and since its flat and straight around here I doubt I really need full on race pads.

I'd like to just nurse it along as cheaply as possible until Novemberish time.when I plan on putting her down for the annual winter maintenance to do the valves, stator, bearings, clutch upgrade, etc. It'd be nice to spend like 20-30 bucks for now if its not going to mess up my rotor as its the ebr 5mm race one.
