My 1125CR has just under 11K miles. When I brake hard at freeway speed the front wheel vibrates as I increase the bake pressure and I can feel it in the brake lever. The dealer checked the rotor runout and everything was in spc. Anyone else have this problem? It also occurs a really slow speed before I stop. The front brake tends to grab and release ever so slightly. IT makes you look and feel like a real cluck when you come to a stop!

I have your same slow speed braking issue, haven't noticed any braking issue at high speed.

I sprayed a little lube into the rotor mounting fasteners and the problem went away but has come back again so I'm thinking if I replace the OEM fasteners with the EBR ones that will fix my problem but I'll just deal with it until I need a new front tyre.

Here's the kit http://www.erikbuellracing.com/store/parts-accessories/brakes/front-brake-rotor-mounting-kit.html

And Lyndall gold pads will be getting fitted too http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-prodshow/9260.html

I read somewhere on here that its brake dust or something like that sticking o the rotor, they said they removed the rotor and scrubbed it with a green scotch bright pad. I cant find the thread right now sorry.

^^Correct! Take it off and scrubb the rotor. It is the deposits causing the vibration. The Lyndall Gold pads are a nice upgrade as well.

Clean or replace the mounting hardware also. I had this exact problem, and cleaned the rotor. The problem was still there, just not as bad. Cleaned the mounting hardware and it was just like new. I took all my stuff off, soaked it in brake cleaner and used a toothbrush to make sure everything was as clean as I could make it.

Lyndall pads are great for the bikes. The slight metal sound will take getting used to. If your rotor is in good shape then check your inner springs behind the rotor, and the bushings hardware.Erik Buells is better than stock hardware. Also the brakes need to be flushed clean of fluid every 2/years OR 8'000miles. If you need make sure to get a manual Impact hammer(remover) for the Bolts on the rotor or pulley so as to make twisting off of bolt heads less.*Jimi

I have the EBR hardware and the 6mm rotor wasn't an expensive upgrade total cost was about $170. I also got the ebc pads from ASB. My front brake has never felt this good. Never felt and front brake setup the was this smooth. I absolutely love it. Stops a lot better.
