Front Exhaust Strap?

Is that what its called? The metal strap that wraps around to secure the exhaust below the headers.

I had heard and odd metallic sounds as I would start to pull out the last few days, almost like a screw was loose and the washer was rattling around. I got down there, took the chin fairing off and apparently my Front Exhaust Strap? had snapped. Has anyone else had this problem?

Does anyone have a spare? or BPG whats the part# and price on a new one? Thanks in advance fellas!

But the answer to your question, yes. This seems to be the muffler straps.

My bike is making that rattling sound when I get on it too.

My strap broke as well. From the time I rode my bike home then back to work, while I was waiting for the replacement to come in, my head bolts broke. It 's at the dealership now getting the head replaced. They said the broken header bolts can be attributed to the missing exhaust strap.
Moral of the story: replace it immediately.
