i put new tires on my firebolt last week, and while removing the belt pully ,I touched the rear brake pedal a little bit.and now it drags a little . and also my front brakes drags now ( my son grabbed the brake lever while the wheel & tire was off the bike)
I bleed the front brakes and pushed in the pads into the caliper, but still after bleeding them they still drag a little,( didn't try anything yet for rear brakes drag.)...the service manaul has a note on wheel removal , it says; Do not operate brake lever (or pedal)with wheel removed or caliper pistons may be forced out. Reseating pistons requires caliper disassembly....( disassembly & re assemby calls for replacing all the o-rings in the calipers pistons and seals).. so whats that going to cost me from harley dealer..Do i really have to do all that to fix the brake drag , or is there an easier or better way to fix my brakes dragging.
