Front wheel bearing spacer.

What is the safe/proper length for the front wheel bearing spacer? I can't find it anywhere in the manual. Someone posted 4.25 on here and mine is just below that by a mm. Just looking for clarification before I put the new wheel bearings in.

is it damaged from the bearing? As long as it has the chamfered/finished ends it should be fine
