This is just a feeler, but I think I'm ready to get out of the Buell platform. It's been a blast (get it?!?!?), but I miss adventure bikes. If I could have both, I would, but I don't think my woman would be okay with that. The only trade I would consider is a late-model large displacement KTM Adventure or Supermoto bike (990, etc).

The bike is located in the Los Angeles area (specifically Claremont).

It is far (FAR) from stock, and has the following:
-CRG bar-end mirrors
-GB exhaust
-Dual 6000k HID lights with flasher mod
-FAST intake (worth $500-600 on the used market, alone)
-Servo delete
-Tail chop
-Custom license plate bracket
-XB lights option #6 tail light, with integrated turn signals
-Flushmount turn signals up front
-Corbin gunfigher + lady seat with orange trim
-Dark horse moto sliders front and rear, with replaceable Delrin sliders and spools for stands in the back
-All stock parts (excluding seat) that were EVER taken off of the bike
-Pazzo racing long levers
-WB O2 sensor
-LC-1 wideband controller
-1/8" diag port relocation kit
-ECM cable
-CD with TunerPro RT, Megalog Viewer, ECMSpy, ECMRead, and all definitions and acquisitions files
-Custom tune for the aftermarket parts and the southern California area
-Tires with TONS of life left
-All maintenance parts that I can find (spark plugs, oil, primary cover gaskets)
-Spare header in perfect condition, spare frame pucks (which are impossible to find)

The bike is in flawless condition. There are a couple minor scratches from clothing on the airbox cover, but that's it. The bike has never been down, never quit on me, never flashed a hard CEL. It was broken in properly, and had it's 1000 mile service right on the dot. It has been running Amsoil 20W50 in both primary and swingarm since the 1000 mile service.

I am asking for $8500, obo. I am willing to add or take cash for the right trade, too.

I know that Buells can be found for around $7k in this condition, but not with these aftermarket parts (especially the FAST intake, which replaces the entire breathing system with a custom K&N filter, heat shield, and velocity stack). If you'd like the bike sans aftermarket parts (I'll still include the seat and stock extras), I can part with it for $7.2k to reflect the inclusion of the Corbin seat.

I'm happy to take the bike to LA for viewing, if necessary. I'm also happy to help with shipping, and can put you in touch with a motorcycle shipper I've worked with before who is reliable, friendly, and trustworthy.

If the bike doesn't sell for the asking price, I'll begin to return it to stock, and will probably be posting ads for the aftermarket items on the bike (FAST intake, seat, exhaust, sliders, levers, mirrors, etc).

Max you are dead to me

Sorry bud. I love the Buell, and it still might end up staying in the stables, but I really miss having a bike that can hit any kind of terrain.

You have put too much work into this bike for that little of miles! If you have to get rid of the bike, sell your cafe bike.

I'm getting rid of that one, too. Between grad school and teaching, I'm not going to have time for motor-related projects anymore.

According to the photo he linked in his ad (taken two days ago), it has 2134 miles on it.
