I haven't gone more than a few miles. I also average about 32mpg in my XB12r.

Ive gone 35 miles or so.
As far as gas mileage ..I get EXTREMELY good gas mileage on mine for some reason
My fuel light usually doesnt even come on until around 180 miles. My best mpg so far is 67mpg...my worst is 48. The day I got 48 ..the only real difference was it was really windy out.

I wont hijack this thread about mpg lol

The fuel capacity on my SS is 16.7 litres and 3.1 litres on reserve. Is the 3.1 included in the 16.7 or does the bike have a 19.8 total fuel capacity? I get 220 Kms. before the light comes on and I figured I'd get only about 20 Kms more but that can't be the case according to some of you.
