First post and would like to say thanks to the forum for the info I read on the fuel pump replacement. I bought a 2005 buell xb9sx with 3000 miles on it. It sat in the guys garage for 4 years after it wouldn't start one day. Got it for a song and discovered within the first 15 minutes possible fuel pump. I didn't have a manual and looked for an hour on the bike for the pump and after reading on here it was discovered. Just wanted to add to the fuel pump removal that after you remove the shock bolt it doesn't want to come out very easy. If you let the air out of the tire it slides right out. Just my .02.
Gotta say this thing is a blast to ride. Of course all of you know this already. So thanks again and look forward to reading more on this site.
Anyone in SouthTexas (RGV), because its lonely down here with all the Japanese bikes?
