Took my 07XB12 for it's 1st shake-down ride after mods / repairs and parked inside the garage. After the fan cycled and shut-down, I can hear a hissing sound. Long story short; it took me a couple minutes to figure out it was coming from the fuel overflow hose (left foot peg) and it was still doing it when I walked away minutes later. I've never actually noticed that sound before and don't think I'd missed it; fairly loud. Tank was maybe 1/2 +/- full. It was a mid-80's day; was the engine heat after I parked it causing the fuel to expand and perk ? Normal [confused]

Thanx !!!

I've had my XB-12Ss do the same thing. Seems to do it more often when the tank is low[confused]
I'm sure there is a pressure relief in the cap so maybe its weak or stuck? and check the rubber seal at the cap too.
It's supposed to vent, but that seems a bit excessive.

my xb12s 07 does it too. any suggestion why? and how how to prevent it?
