I really really like them

I did have the pipe issue, so did a spacer on the lower bracket and used some high temp RTV to lock down the heatshield material.

Actually used tin foil to repair the burned part while I waited for replacement, it's working so well I've left it.

I ended up with the Buell lowers (not the belly pan yet). Fit good, no hot spot issues. I spaced out the RH side with a spacer on one of the brackets as well and double/triple taped silver foil speed tape over the insulation provided. So far so good.

Yeah, Johnny and RT, I really do like the flexi-glass fairings and the unique look. Not sure I like that they are 3 pieces. I like the ease of the CRC fairings being one piece. Still another awesome full fairing.

I got the factory ones, and love them.

I did have trouble with the heat shielding coming off and burning on the header.

I built a spacer for the bottom mount.

So I got some high temp rtv and glued it all back down, sealing all the edges too. I then repaired the burned section with kitchen tinfoil.

I ordered more heat shield material, but my repairs have worked so well I haven't bothered with the new shield.

I went with Catalyst Composites because I thought the rest of them were not quite what I wanted. I wanted a FULL Fairing,

of course since I have gotten mine there have been some new kits put out, and you can see several of them on here. I likedmine due to the absolute ease of install. Again, there have been a ton of new things in the last 3 years.

I did wrap my header pipes with standard issue header wrap and installed the glue in heat shield they offer. I just wanted to be certain it didnt get burned.

This was my full fairing kit from Eric Buell Racing. It was the 1125RR kit and it worked just fine till i sold it and made my 1125r into the Carbonfiber CR

Exhaust is EBRacing kit. It was about $1800.00 and the headers and pipes are bigger than stock and then I wrapped them. It gave me at least an additional 10-15 hp to the rear wheels. I also have the EBRacing ECM and K&N airfilter, the active intake solenoid resistor bypass plug, and the Evans Coolant (it has a boiling point of 375 degrees). Next, Im gonna do the rear swingarm kit and magnesium wheels.
