so i got really tired of being annoyed of the silver on my frame, so i decided that i am going to get it all powdercoated to either black or yellow. so after about 8 hours of disassembly, i got it ready to take to the powdercoaters. i just dont know which color. i wish i had photoshop about now.. but here is the fun i had..

wow man you arent screwing around. i think black would look better imo but i would like to see yellow because ive never seen it before.

I like your makeshift bike stand there. I just might have to build one of those. Very cool tearing the bike down in just 8 hrs!

Good job! The name plate is just stuck on with an adhesive. I'd imagine taking it off would bend it and ruin it. You can however get any one you want to replace it. Even the 25th anniversary "signed" plate

You should go all out and do the fork tubes, muffler and magnesium fairing mount while you're at it. I've always been a big fan of blue and yellow, but black would look great too. Thats a tough one.

see the problem with the yellow and blue theme would be, i already have a black and yellow honda.. i guess i have to sell it. lol

i already pulled off the fairing mount... but you did just remind me to grab the front engine mount. as far as the muffler, i'm gonna do it after i gut it. i'm going to leave the forks the way they are.

I would go black. I wouldnt be able to stand the yellow for long. BTW...what is it costing to have all that powder coated?

i would go with yellow for everything but your frame, would take alot of cleaning to keep a yellow frame looking good. But no where near as much for a black frame.
