Going through oil on the track

I did a track day this weekend and had to add oil after about 80-100 miles on the track. Is there a known problem with sucking oil through the breather? The engine is clean, so I don't think it's leaking.

The engine is stock and I have not modified the breather or the emissions.

do the breather re-route with a catch can. then you will know how much is going through it. this is a good idea regardless.

is your bike brand new? ive heard of people getting some significant blowby until the engine gets broken in completely.

is there a possibility of it getting burned? do a compression check.

It's a 2009 with 1500 miles. I changed to Redline oil at 1000 miles.

its probably your bike wearing in. id give it some time to see if it improves. maybe someone else will chime in that has first hand experience. i bought mine with 19k so i dont really know but i thought i read something about this on the forum at some point in time.
