It's $219 on Amazon.com also for those that don't know the HERO2 was recently released so prices might slowly start to drop on the original.

I paid $300 for mine at the beginning of last year and mid summer they were on sale for $200 and the was the Motorsports setup.

I am sure the price will drop to a solid $200 come the holidays or just there after.

I just can't imagine how much difference that new lens will make unless you have a really high end editing set up. The resolution will only display so high depending on what you're viewing it on, correct? Meaning if your watching a full 1080p video on a 720 tv, you wont see the full 1080 anyways? Am I right on that?

Plus, the more HD that camera records in, the longer it will take to upload and as it is, the current 1080p takes effing forever to download anything.

Maybe I don't understand all of the benefits of the new gopro, but I'm good with 'the old' gopro. Anyone thinking about buying the new one, you might as well save some money and buy these used ones from d_adams at a steep discount. The camera has sick resolution as it is. I don't think the average guy downloading weakened end videos will get the full capabilities out of the new camera anyway. It offers more rediculous resolution already.

Don't hesitate, buy it! You'll be glad you saved the money [up]

Watch Amazon, I got mine last week for 200. There were having different prices each day ranging from 200-240 because the 2 was coming out. Some good prices on the GoPros. I cant wait to mess with mine this weekend.
