When I went to Best Buy they only had the Hero2. The cheaper one is the Hero1. The Hero1 is fine for what I use it for. Now that I know what the white do dad does hopefully I can get up a bike video that actually looks good.

the new one does 120fps along with other features. i finally learned the tricks to mine and they bust out a new one lol. damnit. oh well its great for what i do

Not sure what a hero 5 is as the link shows, never heard of that. But I can tell by looking at the front it's the same one I have and I don't have the new one. The lens is wrong, the indicator light is too small, and it doesn't say hero 2 Below the lens.

Having said that, it's still a damn good camera and the price is fair. You can probably find it for less though.

I love my Hero2. Wife got it for me for Xmas. Got alot of fun video so far. Only complaint is the battery life. Its only 2.5 hours of recording. On my snowmobile, thats hardly enough. Missed SOOOO much good footage opportunity out riding in the UP of michigan in the back woods of the Keweenaw Peninsula. Best riding I have ever experienced.

Bought a Hero for myself at Xmas and love it so much I just made a deal for a Hero II. A gentleman I work with bought it just a couple months ago and decided he doesn't think he'll use it enough. Got the camera package plus LCD back, extra battery, and a bag of mounts/ adapters all for what he paid for the camera alone. So I will have two to play with at Dragon V! WooHoo

Buddy got one of the old ones (which is fine for me too) and got extra batteries for it. Might pick me up and old one soon! Albeit for documenting my commute as I have seen some f@#ked up stuff lately and feel I may need it as proof against hearsay..., but I'll use it for fun too!
