GPS FOR A MOTORCYCLE

Looking for any input about a GPS for a motorcycle....what to look for..what brand etc....thanks

Garmin. Everything else is just a compromise. The model is up to you. They make so many, that I'm sure that you will find one that will meet you needs and financial possibilities.

yep...if it's 90% motorcycle, garmin is the way to go.

it's good in cars too, but it's the best on a motorcyle.

Tom Tom won the best GPS prize award in Australia, good in cars to, but I wouldn't know if there available to the states & Europe

don't buy a nave man, shocking customer service, mine died a day after warranty and no love! -$600=[mad]

I have heard of other unhappy customers with navman

I use Garmin on my phone. I've got a Windows Mobile smartphone with Bluetooth. I loaded the PDA version of Garmin. The voice comes through my Chatterbox Bluetooth. I like it because I can set where I'm going, throw the phone in my pocket or tankbag and keep going.

I have a basic Garmin Nuvi 200. Can I just get some type of secure mount for the bike and drive away???? Do I need a motorcycle specific GPS??? Why????

I have used the Garmin Nuvi 550 it has been awesome it weather proof and not a bad price.

last i know you can't make your own routes with tomtom.

it gets you from a to b perfectly, though.

The wife has TomTom One a and it works great they also make one for the bike. I have Mr. T telling me witch way to turn " TURN LEFT IN 500 FEET FOOL".

Garmin Zumo 550 FTW!!!

The GPS mounts in the RAM mount just above the engine kill switch out of the way yet still usable.
