Garmin. Everything else is just a compromise. The model is up to you. They make so many, that I'm sure that you will find one that will meet you needs and financial possibilities.
 
yep...if it's 90% motorcycle, garmin is the way to go.

it's good in cars too, but it's the best on a motorcyle.
 
I did a search the other day for Motorcycle GPS systems and then closed the page once I seen the 6-900 $ price tags.
 
I use Garmin on my phone. I've got a Windows Mobile smartphone with Bluetooth. I loaded the PDA version of Garmin. The voice comes through my Chatterbox Bluetooth. I like it because I can set where I'm going, throw the phone in my pocket or tankbag and keep going.
 
I have a basic Garmin Nuvi 200. Can I just get some type of secure mount for the bike and drive away???? Do I need a motorcycle specific GPS??? Why????

last i know you can't make your own routes with tomtom.

it gets you from a to b perfectly, though.
 
The wife has TomTom One a and it works great they also make one for the bike. I have Mr. T telling me witch way to turn " TURN LEFT IN 500 FEET FOOL".

The GPS mounts in the RAM mount just above the engine kill switch out of the way yet still usable.
 
yea...sounds like fun, but can you make your own routes for nice rides and vacations?
