Found this and actually ordered two, opted for the silver color. It simply mounts between an axle slider and the swingarm. I am going to use some 2 sided tape to offer some grip which should keep the bracket from slipping down during rides.

Cost $20.99 and come in Gloss Black, Satin Black , Gun Metal Grey, or Silver, he is going to do some other colors too but this is what he has now.

Bracket Link, This is a link to his other auctions but all the brackets like I have posted are the same even if listed for a Busa, R1, or whatever.

http://coharainc.com/ This is is business site although the new design is yet to be on it and he runs everything through ebay, incase you want to email him.

I know someone on the forum was building one that was very nice but the design to this will fit any Buell.

Is it me or is it kinda weird that those bolt heads are sticking out? I wonder why they wouldn't have just welded the two pieces together. Or at least used some tapered heads and had the bolts sit flush. I cant wrap my head around how you would put the plate on without having a bump in the middle. Unless you drilled through the plate to allow clearance for the bolts?

I'd be willing to bet that the plate will looked curved, not so much bent to fit. I bet the holes allow for that. I relly can't tell but if there were weird bumbs or creases because of the bolts it would look kinda meh.

I guess that could be, but then the plate would be raised off the mount a little. Unless I am missing something its like a good idea, but they half assed the design.

where exactly is this bracket mounted on the bike? by the looks of it, I'd say it's mounted on the swing arm? did I guess right?

The reason he designed it as is, is so you can flip the back bracket and offest the bracket depending on what side you want it. It allows for the bracket to be offest and tuck closer into the tire or away what ever you want.

Also YES it mounts to the swing arm using axle slides or what ever else you can muster up.

Sorry for the bad photo shop, and the bracket extends past the sprocket but it is what it basically is.

No because the Plate will arch and completely miss the bolts, that is why he has bends in it and a flat mounting location for the back bracket.

I should get them on Weds. and will post pics as soon as I get them.

Yeah, damn now my bike will only do 197mph, so long to the 200mph mark.

I am hoping it will fit really close to the wheel right behind the belt and not have any negative impacts.

If the bolts end up being that big of a deal, it's always easy to just pull 'em off and weld the sucker together anyway. Not the end of the world.

If it works out right, it'll definitely be something I'm interested in.

Taking the bolts out and welding them would be no problem. But if you could easily do this, why not just make your own bracket that will probably look better anyways.

If that thing is just held on by your axel sliders, whats going to prevent it from rotating up or down?

That's nothing a little 3M product couldn't fix. They use the stuff to attach body kits to cars after all.

Yeah as far as rotating that is why I said above I am just going to use a little 2sided tape for a little grip, then tighten it down.

For a light all you really need to do is run a wire along theinside of the swing arm or along the brake line and use led bolts or buy a small white led strip at autozone and wire it up. I am just going to leave it with no light for now.

I might be getting a different tail eliminator for my lightning tail that removes the light and be doing a custom setup, so I might invest in an all in one light for the vertical plate mount.

Where are you looking for tail eliminators xtremelow? Aside form doing it myself and Special O.P.S., I'm not aware of too many other locations offering eliminator kits.
