Went out for a ride and the made it about 5 miles before the it wants to die. It starts and idles fine but as soon as I give it gas it wants to die. mostly at the bottom to mid range. Checked battery terminals and they are tight. Did a TPS reset on it 2 weeks ago and bike has been running fine...rode it earlier today for 65 miles with no issues. Bike is a 2003 XB9S

unplug it and just make a jumper pin to put in it to temporally see if it solves the problem if you think thats whats causing it.

If that is your issue just cut it out and splice the wires together to bypass it for good, its easier and cheaper than replacing it!

Yes, the black plastic plug right near the kickstand is the "switch" your looking for. You can either cut the wiring and splice it together, or create a jumper that does the same, using the existing plug
