handle bar weight

Has any body used handle bar weight? on ther Uly ?

Its a matter of personal preference. These V-twins aren't 'buzzy' like an I-4 so bar end weights don't really do much, but some people like them.

I also don't think they do anything if your current handlebars have a cross bar. There isn't enough span of metal to be dampened by the weight.

I just took off the stock crossbar handlebars on my STT and replaced them with Renthal ultra-lows (open ends) and did about 3000 miles in 10 days. No numb hands or other issues, I like these bars!

Thanks , thats just about the same bars I put on, I like the riding position they put me in, better on my lower back, I had some issues with routing the cables, they will not snap back , I now have a cruz control not by choice. What did you do about the cables?

I didn't have any issues with my throttle cables. Maybe the Renthals are wider? I would fix that before a ride!

You are correct , I have tried , it seems that in the rerouting once you bend them thats it , I need to replace them, Is that very hard ? I quessing just gotta take air box off and do it from the top . Were is the best place to get new cables push /pull.
