Well, i don't know for sure it'll fit with SS long.
I believe it does!
But, as mentioned. Call Al at American sportbike and that question will be sorted out quick.
Are you looking for the Crossroads or think you do, you gotta talk to him anyway. He is now, the only reseller of the Crossroads bars. He is nice and knows alot so go on, call him.
The quality of the Crossroads are very good.
Regarding - 7 degree bars VS 0 degree.
- 7 degree, are angled more down, more steep so to say. It is putting more stress at your neck and shoulders as the cockpitting get more aggressive. It is probably ok if you go full speed all the time! If you do ride somewhat normal street riding, the 0 degree is more nice. Even this (0 degree) will put you lower than anykind of "up- bar". The handling is very close to XB/r models. In my opinion, the Crossroads bar are higher quality than original XB/r bar. There are even more nice clip-ons. But they cost 3 times and more as much. The Crossroads are offering you what you ask for, in both handling and quality. This is a very good product, i promisse you!
Use a steering damper and you can hit full speed at fifth gear without wobble (just press chest down and hit it). Only thing missing now, is a slipper clutch. Then you could ride true aggro, going redline area all the time (if you are up for it
Concerning wires, it is tight at some points, but not that it cause problems. I have no new wires or any modifications done to make it fit. It works as you want it to. Your questions are probably (again) better answered by Al. Since you got the SS long and i, the S model. I believe it'll work out just as good for you as for me. But i can't promisse that.
I got 3 bars laying around. None did as much as the Crossroads. I think you will like it when it is on.
Let me know where you'll go with the bike.
