I got caught in the rain the other day and started thinking could I use RainX on my visor? I love the stuff on my cars windshield and wondered if anyone ever used it on the visor? If so any problems such as cloudiness sense it's not glass?

I use standard carnauba wax on the outside of the visor and antifog spray/coating on the inside. Works well for me.

i would contact the helmet manufactuer and ask them. i did this with my wiley- x goggles. they told me thats what they recommend. doesnt hurt to make a call.

I use the Honda spray on everything and it works awesome! Helmet, bike, plastic, wheels...rain bead's up and dirt doesn't stick so easy.

Yup. Works great. Mrlogix Dorito and I got caught in a monsoon in Columbus. Couldn't see until (thanks to Mrlogix)we got some rainx and applied. Works great.

RainX also comes in small disposable towelette pouches. I always keep a couple in my tank bag or storage compartment. Works like a champ.

Be sure your shield is compatible with the Rain X first. I've seen too many shields get ruined from people using spray cleaners and such. It could be a very expensive mistake!

Even magical rain x wont make the visor very visible. The old hand powered glove windscreen wiper is the best tactic (I've found). I don't prefer riding in the rain because you can't carve corners (confidently), however, I won't shy away from riding in the rain, and this is the best method I've found...
