HAWK VRS. JARDINE?!?

What I like about My Jardine is I can "gear" it. There is a reducer that goes inside to give more speed at low rpms. It tones the sound down a fuzz as well. Also If you really pack the Jardine tight It has a very low mean grunt to it. Less packing, higher tone. A friend of a friend has a hawk pipe. He said compared to the Jardine he would rather have the Jardine. He was sorry he did the hawk. I say here them both once again.... Its all personal preference.

Does a K&N really do that much? I dont wanna drop $60 if I dont have to. My stock is clean.

No real difference, just the ability to clean the K&N. I have the the Buell Performance filter, got it for $50 delivered from GR Harley.

Check you local state laws. In Milwaukee Wisconsin the cops let us slide. Loud Harley's and such everywhere. I have never got a ticket for a loud pipe on a bike. However I have received many tickets for my DC sports pipe on my Toyota. Hence the Toyota was sold. Cops hate ricers.

Off subject I really do like the sound of the Drummer. Heard one the other day and was very impressed.
