So, I bought my bike last year and the guy had painted the outside of the headlight lenses yellow. It actually looks kinda cool cause it matches my wheels but you cant see anything at night. How do I get the paint off without scratching the hell out of the lenses. I heard that some chemicals will melt the plastic or make it hazy. Any input will help. By the way its a 2004 xb12s.

Are you site its paint? They make headlight film that's basically the same as window tint. If it is tint maybe a heat gun or hair dryer, razor bad and lots of time?

Yeah, the guy told me it was paint. He was a painter. He painted the frame black and stuff.

So let's say I can't get the yellow paint off. Does any one have a xb12s headlight assembly they want to get rid of? I have been working on it with brake fluid and its not going that well. I am afraid to use thinner, heard it will melt plastic.

Brake kleen in the green can. That **** will eat nail polish off the wifes finger nails. ask me how i know :)
