I am looking for something to listen to Music and Talk on my phone inside my helmet???

Guessing BlueTooth would most likely be the best... Any ideas?

Cardo scala rider Q2. My friends and I all have them and we love em! They also have a FM radio and communication feature. The new ones, the "Multiset" features a MP3 jack. Make sure you're getting the one with the mp3 jack. Here is a link to a review

i'd second that. have one myself, and you can integrate it with sat nav, phone, radio, and "walkie-talkie" comms. very good. excellent battery laife

I just run Skull Candy headphones under my jacket into my helmet. iPods are your friend.

The only problem with earbud headphones is if you're riding in hot weather and your skins starts to leak, sometimes your earbuds will fall out.

Dave,

Have you tried other brands? That looks good but a little more than I had hoped to spend.

Midnight,

I have done that in the past but I was hopeing to be able to use my Cell too... And my phone has an MP3 player built in and I can use Napster To Go with it... So I was hoping use Cell as Music and still be able to answer the phone.

My buddy has the cardo and likes it, I hear good things about the chatterbox too. I have yet to be able to afford such luxury :)

I've tried the O'Neil helmet on at the store. It's pretty cool, costs about $230 and has less features.

I have heard REALLY BAD things about the chatterbox. Stores don't carry them very much anymore because of their return rate. I wanted to buy one before I got the cardo because they had a built in walkie, but I was talked out of it by several people.

The ONLY complaint I have with the cardo is that sometimes the buddy pairing is difficult.

There is another brand "IMC" or something like that. I've heard its ok, but it lacks some features that I really wanted that the cardo had

Dave,

Does the Cardio Q2 attached to the helmet create more wind noise? Does it have longe enough cable to be cliped to shoulder or chest instead of helmet?

Thanks for your help!

Still talking with wife about my purchase...

It installs on the side of the helmet only, and the speakers are placed in the ear cut outs in your helmet. I have not noticed wind noise from the unit on the helmet.

If I were you, I'd find a friend who wants one too and go in on a pair(multiset) together. When you buy the pair, you get the version which has the MP3 input that you're looking for, plus it has larger speakers. If you don't buy the multiset but still want the input, you'd have to buy the upgrade for an additional $40(which I ended up doing).

The multiset can be found for $300, when the average price on the single Q2 is around $200.

Make sure the one you buy has the MP3 input!! Otherwise you're going to have to spend another $40 a unit.

If you ride with a friend, it will make riding twice as fun!

[up] on the teamset... dave and I use it whenever we go to fresno, makes the ride so much more fun!

review says mono 2 speaker headset? hmmmm, cant be too good to listen to music is it?

That review was done before the multiset came out. The updated base and speakers are stereo [up]
