Heat relief

Well not sure what did the trick. But after winter mods that included a Special OPS heat shield under the seat,opening up the air box, race ecm and Jet Hot coating a header, I can say my bike is a cool ride. Granted the temp was only in the high 70's this weekend but I had no problems with radiated heat on my legs or butt. So looks like the summer will be a lot more comfortable. Also noticed that after a 30 min. ride the fan seemed to run less. Added bonus.

[up][up]First off I love the look of your bike and secondly where did you get the carbon fiber frame covers hopefully in the U.S.Third how /where did you get the brass knuckle heel guards and do you have closer pics of them so maybe I could see if I could make some.[up][up]One of the nicest xbr's ive seen without being over the top crazy....

Thanks for the complements. I bought the frame covers on Ebay for less than $200. Granted they aren't Free Spirits but they look good to me. I got the heel plates from the guy at the link below. Its a husband and wife operation, super nice people I met at a bike show a few yrs ago. As for taking the "nucks" off in case of trouble, thats why I ride a Buell. Thanks alot sledge im thinking I will get the trucker girl guards cause lets face it there can never be to many sets of tits on your bike weather they sit on the back seat or not.I looked like crazy on ebay and cannot find any buell carbon fiber frame guards at all I cannot afford the other ones 200 sounds about in my range any help you can give is appreciated.

You just have to keep looking. I watched for 6 mos. before a set came on that were in my price range. I usually make a check every couple of days just search buell carbon. That way you can avoid the led's and bar end mirror auctions. Always tons of those on there. Good luck and good hunting.
