help!!! 03 buell firebolt XB9R fuel injecter not kicking on???

ok delema, got a 03 buell firebolt Xb9R recived it from fauther inlaw only got 4300 miles on it the cach is he to old to ride any more and let the bike sit 2-3 yrs. i drained the oil from bike changed oil filter put fresh in check, i flushed old fuel from tank and fuel lines check , replaced battery check. go to start bike turns over but not getting fuel. noticed when u turn run switch on i dose not make that sound it useally make im guessing the fuel injection . i take air cover off to look to see is it reciveing fuel nodda. i put little drops of fuel in there to see if it would kick over . it acted like it wanted too did a few times but shut off when it ate up fuel. my only guess was fuse or relay but could not find one for fuel injection . PLEASE HELP!!!! thanks

If you aren't getting a sound when you flip your run switch, then your fuel pump is not working.

really kick stand will do thaat lmao i really hope that is the issue . so whats a fuel pump run on these things.

or let me refrase that what would cause the fuel pump not to work or any troble shooting i can to do to save a dollar

Check the fuel pump connection behind your left foot peg bracket. Make sure the wires aren't chaffed and that is is plugged in of course lol.

a buddy mentioned that there was or is and recall on the fuel pumps for this bike anyone know of or heard of this . if so what needs to be done to take action

Ok I'm new here so bare with me. I'm having the same issue with my 03 xb9. No priming noise. The engine light cycles like what it should but no noise. Checked voltage at the pump. Have 11.9volys there and I checked the continuity on the ground and that's good as well. I also have 12.59 volts at the battery. I'm losing a little power to the pump somewhere. Is that enough to make the pump not run or is the pump bad? Again I'm new here and if I'm doing anything wrong let me know thanks!!
