whats up guys,
ok the problem im having with my buell is i CAN NOT for the life of me stand this thing up in any gear but first even if i clutch it. i feel like the bike isnt making the power it should, i have the airbox mod, race map and hawk exhaust. and i can barely keep up with my friends cbr 600. the bike runs perfect, no idle problems runs really smooth. could this be a clutch slippage problem? the bike is kinda snappy but it is probley the original clutch.

Awww, Kchad... I can't wheelie a motorcycle for crap; and been ridin' forty years!
Don't blame the motorcycle, they are a little slower than a 4-cylinder 600.
If you have a modded XB that runs perfect, really smooth, and kinda snappy; you're set! [up]

1. your bolt wont beat your buddies 600 rice grinder. he ahs 4 cyl. you have a v twin.

2. i have a 04 xb12r as well, only mod is a D&D and even stock i could still wheelie in 1st and 2nd with no clutch. in either 1st or 2nd get it up high/mid rpm roll on the gas hard let off, then snap it back on full throttle and up she comes. higher gears will require clutching it up

i have a stock xb12r only mod is a gutted muffler. she will lift the front end off the ground without clutching it up.
