Help! Cam Bushings = $800?!?!

So I picked up a total basket case XB12. For some unknown reason the previous owner pulled 2 of the cam bushings out. Buell does not offer them separately, but only as part of the crank case for $800. Anyone have any suggestions for other options?

Is there a local Machine shop who could machine you some new ones? You'd have to pull one of the remaining ones off so they'll have something to go by.

Hi, I have just joined the the forum, I am fro South Africa, My name is Sameul and I have a 2005 Buell XB 1200S which cam bushes have spun in the casing, I have already ordered a new crank Assembly and pistons through our HD dealer, is there some one that can sell me a good set of used casings

Any assistance will be highly appreciated

There is a local guy who has a business called Octane. He is taking over from HD supplying Buell parts in SA.
Pop me a message and I will send you his number. Nice, genuine stand-up guy. Used to be a Harley tech, specialising on Buells.
