I just bought a 2004 XB12R Firebolt. I was under the impression it was bone stock. I noticed a bit of a back fire when riding, so it got me curious as to what was happening. Upon inspection I found that it had a K&N already installed (which I cleaned and the back fire got worse
), I was also curious about the exhaust. I didn't realize it at when I bought it, but the pipe has a dual tip. Me being new to Buell's... I didn't know the stocker only exited on the one side. So I've been looking for this pipe, which looks almost like a Hawk performance exhaust, but I'm not sure. Maybe one of you guys can confirm my suspicion.
I'm going to grab an ECMspy cable soon and try and get this thing remapped. The back fire isn't horrible, but I'm thinking I can clean it up.
