I noticed this morning that the front strap on my drummer was hanging. Tried squeezing it back together but it seems short. From the looks of it (pics below) did I just lose the NUT or did the BOLT snap off? Never messed with it before so Im not sure. Hoping someone that has can fill me in.

In the event that is is snapped...is this a proprietary Buell/HD strap or can I get it at any automotive/hardware place?

Thanks for your help~!

edit- dont mind the mess, its not leaking, i just always get a little leak when i change the filter and it always drains down the side of the casing and onto this little crevice on top of the drummer. every time, not matter how careful i am.

figured, looked that way to me too. guess ill take it in for warranty. thanks for your help batman~

wonder how it coulda snapped???

if they wont cover it under warranty I have a brand new oem one for cheap..

i bought an extra front strap from american sport bike, i think it was like 20 bucks and shipped really fast.

That is definetly broken. Look at the second picture how the end of the threads aren't flush with the end of the bolt/screw.

its just the can, its always been...got it in tampa remember? coastal = rust. its only on the exhaust and the header clamp...replaceable, not so worried.
