Canadian 1125CR owner here! I've lurked this place for some time, and all the good information helped me make a good decision. So thanks!

I purchased a used '09 with just over 10,000KM with just some light mods, like a Jardine tail chop and bar-end mirrors. It does have a bit of a clutch leak but I've been keeping an eye on my DOT-4 for now. I'll likely fix things up during the winter.

It's an absolute hoot around town and on the roads outside of Vancouver. I think I'll need to make pamphlets about the bike, because every day there's someone asking about it. Even a cool 93 year-old guy was absolutely infatuated.

Of course, I've some pictures for you all! They're not the best but I don't have my Photoshop PC at home:

PS - We now have slotted axle sliders for your bike and are clearing out the old non-slotted style for only $80 US.

Nice bike!
A "bit" of a clutch leak? That clutch is balling its eyes out.

Nice bike.
A bit of a heads up my clutch went from a small leak to done in 2 months. Id get your parts together so you are one and done.

Mine is in parts in the garage because i was missing the 2 orings on the sleeve. CF0007.1ama. the one from EBR does not come with these.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome!

@popeye13433

Thanks for the heads up. I know some people's leaks progressively got worse but hadn't an idea of a timeframe. I do freelance writing plus another job so I don't get much downtime to work in the garage. But the last thing I need is to be stranded with a bum clutch while on deadline. I'll look into replacing the parts soon.

Aside from the CF0007.1ama O-rings, is there anything else the EBR kit lacks that I'd need to buy separately? I just want to double check because some things on here and BadWeb seem a little contradictory. I think I've even read of EBR just telling people to reuse the O-rings - though that seems 'backyardy.'

@jaimz

Haha, yeah the FAPTurbo name is from my internet trolly days of yore. I got it from a Forex robot/computer program:

I do freelance writing

So, we have at least two things in common....

I will be sure to scour all of your postings for spelling/grammar/usage. So far so good[up]

Welcome!

Easy on my spelling/grammar/usage i have never done to well in English classes.

EBR said to reuse the O-rings. I replaced the two CF0007.1ama because i didn't want to tear the primary cover off again to replace those 2 months down to road because of a small nick that i didn't see.

I did reuse the one on the spherical nut and the two on the piston came with the kit.

Oh and i got a used puck cover that came with a new o-ring but i used the old one and saved the new one because the Dot4 took the paint off on mine so Im getting it power coated
