Thanks will look in to it more this weekend. Hopefully I get it figured out so I can reassemble the front end of my bike. My spiegler brake line is supposed to be here tomorrow too! It's looking like my bike will be rideable this weekend
Sometimes, you can bend the male pin part of the connector towards the other contact in the female side to make better contact. You have to be careful doing this, so that you don't bend it too much that the connector won't mate.
I have a feeling your wire might be bad where it is crimped to the pin. Best bet is to pull those two pins, and inspect them thoroughly. Good luck.
Thanks for all the help! It appears to be working now. It took me about 15 minutes but I finally figured out how to remove the pins with a safety pin to un clip them. I didn't realize there was a "lock" also that you have to un clip first. Anyway I took out the male pin and it looked fine. Then took out the female pin and it looked fine but I pushed/bent the tab slightly more inward to make sure it was making firm contact with the male pin and when I put it back together the horn works fine no matter how I wiggle the harness. I'm a little deaf now though lol from testing...
Thanks for the help guys. Not only was it an easy fix but I learned something new!
