I have a Sony NEX-5 DSLR micro four thirds camera that i use for everything and i want to know how i should mount it to my Firebolt. I want to mount in 2 places, on the handle bars and on the fairing/windscreen. The camera is very light at 10oz (3/4lbs). I would like a mount that has some flexibility with how i can angle it and also wont move on me while riding. Thanks in advance!!!

All I have is my iPhone..... I turn on the camera and wedge it into my helmet in front of my mouth and it stays there. The camera sees what I see as the camera lens is at the top of the phone and ends up looking out the visor ..... I have made a few 10-15 minute videos like this.... All pretty good....

I use a Ram mount, for my Contour HD180p. It is very versatile, and the suction cup is strong as hell.

This picture will give you a better idea, will take more if you would like but I gearing up to go for another ride.

Good lean!! :) I always wanted to mount a camera near the bottom of the fork. I once bolted it to my passenger peg- but mostly i got video of my pant leg flappin' in the breeze..

I don't have a RAM mount, but I've seen them and they are very nice. That's what I'd get for sure. Be careful with the DSLR and make sure you always have some sort of filter at the end of the lens. You'd be surprised how many rocks are going to hit it.

I wish I was joking but my Ram Mount failed me today and I'm out aboot $450 for my camera now. Was still a good day though, the Daytona is a beast.

I normally have a tether attached for that reason, but it never let loose before so I have been complacent. Live and learn I guess. [confused]

I put a copy of my video on facebook Buellxb.com - Buell Forum Community..... The video was shot with an iPhone wedged in my helmet.....
