Been my dream bike, would never throw away or give up on a dream. So as long as I can buy parts and keep riding I will. After that it will become a display of innovation and what one bad ass bike was like back in the day! Good story for the grandchildren lol

i plan tokeepmy bolt forever. after it's paid off iplan to find an s1 white lightning. that's the first i fell in love with.

Hopefully my grandson or great grandson will find it under a cover in the back of the barn. I will leave some instructions and notes to get it running and do a tps rest (ha,ha) so they can enjoy it as much as I do.

I love the S1s too. That's great to hear so many people plan to keep their bikes forever. Most bikes out there people will only keep until the next thing comes out, even if it's something that's discontinued. Even if Suzuki folded under this year, people would just start buying cbrs and forget about it.

I don't have mine yet, but I know I'm at a point in my life where I'll probably have some kids within a couple years, and I know just about any other bike I would normally consider would end up getting sold once I had a kid, so I know the Buell is the one bike I'm looking for because I know I'd trust myself to keep it for the long run since I don't picture myself enjoying a 140hp rocket with a top speed of 180mph when I'm 35+ in any form of a practical manner.

At the same time though, I live close enough to just walk/bicycle to work, but someday when I move out of the city and have to find another way to commute into town, I'll probably pick up another bike for daily duty and save the Buell for evenings and weekends. I don't want to wear it out in a couple years with pointless commuting miles 5 days a week. They make japanese bikes for that.

I just got my XB9s about two weeks ago I I ride it pretty often after work. I like it alot it is my first like, but I am already planning on getting a 10 when I am ready to upgrade, like stated before it is a very special bike, and the only american streetbike company. And and since I only buy american vehicles it was a logical choice.

Glad to hear im not the only one who plans to keep the Buell Forever!! [up][up][up][up][up][up]

I'm literally taking mine to the grave with me. Granted, when I die, I plan on dying while riding my XB12R.

a couple of mates have said " you should place that in an airtight glass container and save clocking up k's on that bike" i kind of agree and in one way wish i could, however i saved so hard and sacrificed so many piss up times with the boys to have a goal of buying my dream bike. I have it , i love it ,but i love riding this bike and enjoy every time i am aboard. Does anyone out there have a magic wand i can borrow ?

I want to take mine to the grave. Buried in a riding position, with a full lean on! Of course it may have to be in the back yard next to my hound dog Duke. [cool][cool][cool][up][up][up]

i own 5 buells, first one i bought used in jan of 98, still have it, and don't plan on ever getting rid of that one(97 S3). the blast i might sell, or turn into a drag bike??? the S1W i will keep forever, the M2 i might sell, or might not, the Uly is the first brand new buell i've had, probably will keep her too!!
