How many big bore owners do we have on here?

Im about to take the plunge into a bigger bore bike here in the very near future. Looking for some info, or someone to chime in who has done it.

What all should I expect as challenges?
Any work needed to be done to the trans?
With the 1250 kit, how much of a "seat of the pants" difference is there?

from what I've heard if you have a 12 the 1250 kit isn't worth it. it's worth it if you're going from the 9

What about the 88" kit? Anyone have that in their 12S or 12R?

there's a guy from texas named tyler that has the 90" it's basically the same. his is an R I think his name on here is actually just tyler but I haven't talked to him in a while. another good source is ericz over on the buelletin board I know he's putting a 90" and putting a turbo on it

i have a 1250 kit, but it was on the bike when i purchased it, so i don't have before/after reference.i just know it has plenty of push and i am 6'3" 230.

www.nrhsperformance.com did the work on mine. when i copied this link from their site, i noticed they had a sale going on.
