Right ive seen too many post's about people struggling to refit theyre battery strap, sometimes even dealers snapping straps trying to fit them.

I thought id make a quick video on the proper way to do it!

Wow, that sure beats using brute force.....sometimes I do not think I am as evolved as I should be.
Caveman no use tools... :D

Good tip.

I'm at work so I can't see the vid yet, but I sure do wish my dealer new wtf he was doing before I bought my bike and found out my strap has been snapped since day one! [mad]

Hmmm, that look pretty dang simple maybe I will give it a shot just for shits and giggles

could you send that vid to all the dealers.maybe even charge for it as a trainning video.[up]

Glad you like my video, first attempt i tried to hold the camera with one hand and the pliers with the other, bad idea.....led to an iphone being launched 5 foot across the patio all caught on video from a first person perspective!

Should have said 'slide and pull up', but was improvised on the spot and was kind of pissed off that id dropped my phone.

good stuff, I always wondered why that ring was shaped goofy. I'm tempted to try it, but there's no way I'm pulling that strap off again until I have to.

Feel free kyle, just give me some credit for it if you can i made an account on your site using the same username as on here, if i ever make a better one ill let you know so you can link to that instead, i plan to make some more instruction videos too so keep an eye out for them. [up]

Specially for miami :), im surprised i managed to refrain from swearing, bloody iphone cost me 2 weeks pay!

Haha, glad it survived![up] Thanks for sharing...I'm dropping mine all the time, too!

That's the evening's laugh. I'm surprised that there weren't bad words...

BTW, I can envision lots of rep points for you on the original vid. [up]

You must have that thing in an Otter box, mines hit the cement a few times in one, they work great

I keep mine naked, not even a screen protector, dropped it at the petrol station the other day and took a nasty chunk out of it which im not happy about!

Your strap must be different than mine and a lot of people's. It took my friend and I (both of us are very strong guys) a good 20min of sweat and swearing to get my belt back on. Even using the method in the videos, it is a MAJOR PAIN IN THE ASS.
