Buellxb Forum

Help Support Buellxb Forum:

Then bolt everything back together then pawn all your tools to pay someone to work on your bike. If you weren't trying to do anything how did this come about?

lmao [up][up]

Thats what we call a learning experience. I would have loved to see the look on his face when it suddenly dropped.

This make me happy i discovered buellxb.com before badweather... I refuse to sign up there because idiocy like this ive seen through basic searches.
Stensg let it out, all out!

Guys.... He posted on here too. I know it wasn't thought out but give the guy a break

we have all done something stupid and then looked up to see if anyone else saw it. :D

I really just want to know what was trying to be done. Supposedly mechanical background yet the one nut holding the front to the frame baffles him? Idk just seams self expiatory what's going to happen when that nut is taken off. I've been wrenching since I was able to hold one so maybe I'm taking it for granted, but my wife would be able to see that's a no no without having it supported. And that sure looks like a manual on the bench[confused] how just how? If he said hey never touched a wrench or worked on anything mechanical ok dumb luck you pulled the wrong nut.lol idk leave me a little speechless the things I see over there.

So he made a mistake, so what?? Thought this forum was about helping each other out......
I am completely ok with people trying to repair stuff on their own and trying to learn. He should have someone who knows what he is doing there to help him. A motorcycle is not something you want to dick around with like a car. Its going to suck a whole lot more If you screw something up and it breaks at 65mph.

You have to start some where. I understand how he got confused. Are you not allowed to make big mistakes (easy to you) when owning a buell? "Do we shun the members of our family if they cant do everything on their own?
Or would you rather have him never learn a damn thing so he wont ask questions?

I guess the part that set me free of sympathy was when he brought up his mechanical ability with cars and how it was just that he didnt know about bikes!

I get loosening the wrong bolt, or in his case bolts, and screwing shit up, what I dont get is claiming any mechanical ability and not being able to sort it out and fix the mistake, particularly with the manual right there (still my favorite part)

Sorry..
