Help Support Buellxb Forum:

I have the lock set, and a complete "Ss" tail......if you want to change to the "S" tail you will have to make spacers to run the "S" side rails and you will also need a seat, battery tray and cable.

as with everyone I too am glad your baby is back!

as for the *********. karma is a bitch and she always charges interest, the douche will pay...BIG TIME

And 50dro Im gonna order some amber ones come december so be expecting me

Thanks man but we don't offer colors other than black and natural. We looked into it in the past but could not come up with a reliable way to match the wheel colors using an anodizing process (the wheels vary as does the anodizing process). I'm a stickler for a perfect match if you're going to try to match it at all. I wouldn't put a part on my bike that was less than perfect and I wouldn't expect you to either so we offer it the Henry Ford way...either black, black or no color ;) Some others offer "matched colors" but I have yet to be impressed with the color match. If you're set on matching the wheels I'd suggest buying our natural axle sliders and having an autobody paint supply shop color match the wheels and sell you some paint to match. Sorry I don't have a simpler solution...

Bro,

Glad you got your bike back. Sorry to hear that he did some damage to it. I love this comment: "He didn't know it was stolen". Well why would you buy a bike with a broken ignition, broken seat lock, cheap paint coating, and a missing gas cap? Who sold you that bike? When? Do you have proof of sale? Yeah......blind man would have told you it was stolen. How bout the tag? Insurance? The thief should be horse whipped. Butt naked horse whipped.
Do you have insurance? If you do, and you have theft on there it shouldn't cost you a dime to fix it. Some times they will total out the bike and give you a check to buy another one.

hey squid i pm'd you on the lock set. 50dro ill probably get the natural ones and get them powdercoated then, thanks. I told the cop the exact same thing you just said mrfantastic. He said he will interview him and see if he can pressure him to admitting he stole it or knowingly purchased it stolen. So we will see but i did have insurance but it was just liability so im stuck with the bill.

A friend of mine bought a brand new GSXR 600 years ago and he was at a friends apartment, when he came out the bike was gone. Months later it was involved in a chase just like yours, he wiped out and had a ton of cocaine on him. His was in much worse shape though, looks like it's ridable still. Now it's time to build it better!!

Glad you got your bike back, sucks that it was beat up. I don't understand why people do that stuff.
Anyway, I've got the SS tail that Kona was talking about if you are still interested. That crack on your seat rail doesn't seem too bad, you could probably get it welded up like d adams mentioned earlier. Or do the S tail like I did. I put a diesel moto tail lift on, and S seat rails pretty much bolted on.

I told the cop the exact same thing you just said mrfantastic. He said he will interview him and see if he can pressure him to admitting he stole it or knowingly purchased it stolen. So we will see

This is mind boggling. I've never heard such ********. If you're in possession of stolen property your guilty caught red handed. There shouldn't be any pressuring him to admit anything. Where is the title? Where is his registration? Where if his key? Etc.... Get ******* Real Cops!
I'm sorry to say but it sounds like you have some ******* cops in your area. That **** wouldn't fly down here. I wouldn't want to live there, unless I was a criminal I guess. As long as you don't admit it your innocent? Sounds like a criminals heaven.

In all reality that damage is not bad at all compared to what it could have been like. I'm glad you got her back! Not trying to say it doesn't suck, just trying to help you think glass half full. Rebuild will be cheaper than a new bike!

Glad you had your bike recovered. Pressure them to file charges for UUMV, Poss of stolen property, no proof of financial responsibility. Contact SAPD and advise a detective that you have recovered your bike and ask them if they will pursue charges if Somerset will not. Contact JP in regards to civil suit, and contact DA's office in reference to restitution for the damages caused to your bike.

Do not let that piece of **** skate! Please post his info here when you get your free copy of the offense report!

Somerset is a small town with a small pd. While I was there the cop kept loosing the police report. I'm from actually from sa so I'm gonna give them a call because that's who I filed it stolen with. I live in pct. 2 so I have to file small claims through them. I sure will post when I get the report. I never saw the guy so I don't know how he looks. And big twin I thought the same thing!! haha, but I don't think so. It was dead when I got it back. Lights turned on but not enough juice to start it. I have it on a charger right now

Good stuff! It's great to hear when thieves get caught and owners get their stuff back. Sucks about the damages though, but at least hopefully the thief gets what he deserves. Either they don't understand how hard people have to work to earn what they have, or thieves just don't care, either way its f***#% up.

Proof positive that life isn't fair; 1) the mf steals your bike, 2) screws it up royally, 3) runs from the cops, 4) crashes it but 5) doesn't break his neck? Step 5 definitely needs to be completed, with help if needed. Glad you got it back though. Keep the pressure on the cops and yes, take him to court if step 5 doesn't manifest itself.
