yes....really. recently, i went to my 20 year class reunion. i took the buell. although i am proud as hell of it, everytime i parked it, i put it in a place that was out of the way and protected.
at the park for the cookout, i put it behind the shelter where the cars could come near it. at the bar, i parked it across the street in a parking lot that was away from everything else, and took the extra time to walk over to the bar; all i could envision was some drunk ******* knocking it over, or crashing into it with their car. an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
i realize that it cant always be in a secure place, and **** does happen. but i do find that with a bit of thought, USUALLY you can find a place that is a bit safer than your first choice.
