just finished with my completion on my seasonal maintenance. lights and gauges work as promised but had failed to start. not sure yet but now i may have to pull all apart and do all over again. has a slow drag at starter but sounds like it mit start but nothing but a drag

starts now but it's loader than i thought and a hard pounding or knocking sound. damn wish i could upload a video. i know it shim right cause its not my first rodeo. just trying to reminder if i install everything right. had alot of activity going on. yes it has oil.......... yeah it time to start all over yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh[confused]

valve lash, header wrap, and frame insulation all the great fun stuff in a small barn with no room to fart. temp. at 10 deg and wife naggy to come back in the to rub her feet!!!!!!!

pretty much thinking out load. does sound like poor oil circulation or low oil, dead cylinder but no error codes, bad timing mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm hope i did drop any thing but was very cautious....really loud pounding sound i know there loud but man thats loud...

Take the diagnosis nice and slow. Its still cold out so you have time to get it right.

There isn't any oil in the rockers. same thing happened to me one time, I now make sure to pour oil in up there during a rebuild. Oil takes a long time to circulate around and up into the top of the motor so it will sound bad till enough oil gets in there.

yeap broken yeahhhhhhhhh. i build cars for a living and now i build bikes and break them as well....
