I just had the most fun I have had in YEARS!!!!

Ok guys, for all of you that didn't make it out to the 3rd Annual Slaying of the Dragon at Deal's Gap, you really missed out. And for you guys that did make it out, thanks, I really needed this trip and had a great time. Mark your calendars people!!!!! 3rd weekend of April next year, the Buells have the entire Deal's Gap Motorcycle Resort, reserved!! We had a good turnout and I got to meet a few people from the Forum. 17 bikes in total and 13 were Buells. Things started out on Saturday a little "iffy". It was chilly and overcast. We headed out and hit a cloud on the Cherohala Skyway, but once we got to the bottom, the sun was out and the weather was perfect for the rest of the weekend. On Saturday we had a 250 mile treck over the mountains of NC and TN, Sunday morning we had a few runs up and down the Dragon. It was really nice not having tru-traffic, and only 2 LEO's on the Dragon.Here are some of my pics.......Buellmagic had a GoPro, so hopefully there will be some video from the weekend.

It was great meeting you both and putting a face to the username. Sorry we didn't catch up Sunday morning...We ended up going with the two other Buell riders at Ironhorse on a full day ride.

We'll be back at Ironhorse & The Dragon for 4 days starting May 6th. If anyone can make it, let us know.

I finally made it home around 8pm tonight.Had car trouble and stayed an extra night in Tellico KOA while the car was being fixed. Haven't downloaded my pics yet but Killboy got some good pics of all of us. Thats me above the sportbike link for Sunday!!
