it's my latest project. it's a 2003 yamaha r-1 i got it it was wrecked, he never reported it, so it has a clear title. i got it for 2500 and it has 5200 miles. I wanted it to streetfighter it out.
heres the finished product.

i refinished the tank, painted it and got a bunch of different accessories. i put on a keyless gas cap, gp shorty exhaust. and my favorite part; the acerbis headlight. oh also i put a led taillight in.

I think it looks great, a chin fairing will definitely help it out. The tail is long, but that's how yamaha likes them. My wife's GS500 is blue with an R1 tail on it. It looks like a mini version of your bike.

What did you do to get that exhaust on? It's hard to make it out, but I can definitely see you created something there.

It is a wrecked bike. I think if you painted the rest of the motor black and maybe some of the suspension linkage it would help pull it all together a little better to make it look like it's supposed to be stripped down.

well, if i wanted to keep this bike as a personal bike, i would buy fz1 radiator shrouds and powdercoated the engine case. i also probably would ride it off a cliff! lol but seriously it has no turning radius. that annoys me. i bought to fix it up and sell it for a couple grand more.
