I need an XB

I picked up my 04 xb12s last year bone stock with 12k on it for $2800 delivered. I have since done the normal servicing and some mods here and there. Still running strong.

It looks like Saturday morning I am driving halfway to Shreveport to meet the guy to buy the yellow one. Let's see how much riding time I can get in now that it's hurricane season.I know it's not going to be as fast as my GSXR-1000 but here's to hoping it's way more comfortable than the GSXR. Come to think of it this will probably be the slowest bike I have ever owned, unless you count my Ruckus.

Yup, but that's doesn't mean it won't be one of the funnest. I also stepped 'down' to the XB from I-4 litre-bikes because they are simply impossible to properly enjoy on the streets.

As they say, it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow!

My dad transports motorcycles/boats. He is based out of Jacksonville, FL but covers a pretty big area because of the boat sales. It might be pricey to have him do a move of your bike only, but if you can work it out when he will be in one of those general areas anyway, you might get it at a pretty good price. If you want to give him a call for pricing ideas, his number is 904-446-7812. Fully licensed and insured, and has been doing it for quite a long time.

Got my Buell today, heck of a lot different than anything else I have ever ridden. One thing concerns me though, when I hit the front brake the bike shakes which I would say is almost like a car when the rotors are warped...

In my experience, it's the same thing as a car. Some of the other guys might want to chime in, but I would take the rotor off and check the pads at the same time. It's unlikely that you'll be able to see a wave in the rotor but I would still check it with my eyes and feel. If you replace the rotor, than you should replace the pads too. Pads are cheap insurance.

I oiled the allens holding the rotor on and it seems to be better. I put a few mile so it tonight, that torque takes some getting used to. The sound doesn't though, music to my ears.

What exhaust does it have on it? I really like the way my bike sounds with a race muffler, I have the stock muffler on it now and its silent.

Congrats on the new bike, you'll like it I'm sure. I'm trying to keep mine to use as a daily driver.

Glad I picked mine up before you! Lol I got mine in Houma. Bitch is MINT not a scratch anywhere on her. Only paid 3 too lol it's an 05 xb12r in blue
