I have a 03 Xb9r with 20,000 miles on it and have only broke 1 belt, and im always 12 o-clock! and i ride a sand road for 7miles to work every day. if your breaking belts you might have a alignment prob.

My 08 scg is going on strong at 21k. The tranny just recently grenaded itself but it wasnt my fault. Change my oil and filter every 2-3k, you'll kill the rear tire a lot faster beating on it and hole shotting it. Oh yeah, still on the original belt, just hope when it snaps it will be in town and I can have Harley come pick me up rather than out in the boonies [smirk]
